Celebrating 15 years in business

'We aim to provide quality architectural plans and construction related advice to help clients turn their ideas and aspirations into reality'

'Being a small and friendly team means that we are

able to offer you a more personal service.'

I graduated from the University of Huddersfield School of Architecture in 1995 with an honours degree in Architectural Technology.

Subsequently I have worked for a number of small and large architectural and engineering companies in and around the counties of Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire, before setting up my consultancy.

In 2009, Andrew J Porter Architectural Consultancy was formed. I originally worked from home but as the business has grown I made the decision to relocate to a central location within Raunds. Since the consultancy was formed I have built up an excellent working relationship with local builders, fellow professionals and also Local Authorities. I have had the pleasure of working directly for one of the local town councils.

I have enjoyed working on a wide variety of projects both large and small, each with their own complexities. All work is professionally indemnified, giving you confidence and reassurance in the quality of the service provided.

Having lived in Raunds for a number of years, I know the town and the surrounding areas very well. Please feel free to get in touch and I look forward to meeting you to discuss how I can help move your ideas forward.

Andrew and I would like express to you our gratitude for all the work you have done. All the builders have commented on how detailed the plans were and how helpful this has been to them. Thank you too for your project management in particular “holding our hands” throughout the planning permission process.
